My garbage pickup days are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. You take the bagged garbage down to the street and add it to the pile from your neighbors; or you start a pile if you’re the first.
I’d been binge-watching ‘The Blacklist’ today and got a late start on taking the garbage down. 6:30 pm I ran around the apartment collecting mí basura, then I ran it down to the street. I mentioned the binge-watching so you understand that my already vision compromised eyes weren’t focusing very well from staring at the television for a few hours.
Sweet baby jicama!!!! You can imagine my heart stopping when I saw what I saw! After a moment the eyes decided to focus and I let out a sigh of relief, dropped the garbage, and ran back upstairs for the camera. What I didn’t get was a shot of the garbage truck at pickup time. They somehow attached this to the back corner of the truck and it looked crazy as hell!
Sometimes México is more fun than any one person should have!
